Outreach OT is a local Occupational Therapy service with a focus on rural families. Carmel Perrett OT travels throughout the Kyogle and Nimbin areas.
Outreach OT
- Provides comprehensive services to children and young people
- Completes functional capacity assessments and reports for children and adults
- Collaborates with Northern Rivers Neuropsychology to provide comprehensive assessment for children who may has Autism.
About carmel
Carmel graduated as an Occupational Therapist in 1991 and has mostly worked with children and people who have a disability. Career highlights include:
- Over twenty years experience working with children and adults with disabilities, developmental and learning difficulties, including two years as Senior Occupational Therapist at Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland;
- Seven years experience in senior leadership positions with Queensland Health.
Carmel also provides supervision to local Occupational Therapists.
When not working as an Occupational Therapist, Carmel works on her cattle property where she can indulge her passions for animals and their welfare, nature and conservation, gardening, photography and fibre arts.
